Healthy Choice Award for nurseries & care homes

Different groups, such as early years (under 5 year olds) and older adults (65+), have different nutritional requirements than other age groups. For this reason the application forms for both the Early Years and Residential Care Homes are based on a food group approach to menu planning. All conditions need to be met to achieve a gold standard, which is the only award level offered for these settings.
